  7. Hi my fellow Amiga friends!

  9. If you've ever experienced installing Winamp on a PC
  10. you  might  know  that  a  file called 'demo.mp3' is
  11. provided with it and  whenever you start the program
  12. it starts playing the file in a kind of welcoming to
  13. the program. This is what AmigaAMP was lacking. It's
  14. not an important  part really but I thought it would
  15. be  great fun to have a  kind of  similar message on
  16. Amiga too.  Therefor I came up with the idea to make
  17. one  by  myself, afterall  it is  something that one
  18. bored musician can do on his sparetime :)

  20. I hope you like this small thing. All you have to do
  21. is  to  copy files  start.mp3 and start.playlist (or
  22. unpack the whole archive)  to the  program's PROGDIR
  23. and edit AmigaAMP's tooltypes.

  25. This is what you should add to the tooltypes:

  27. PLAYLIST=PROGDIR:start.playlist
  28.  
  29. Simple isn't it :) And when you start your AmigaAMP
  30. the next time, it will spring  out the message.  It
  31. would  of course be easier  just if Thomas will add
  32. FILE tooltype  in the next version of Amiga Amp, so
  33. that using the playlist wouldn't be necessary.
